Bio

The Brookshire Times, Brookshire, Texas, August 4, 1955: Weldon F. Amerine, 50, died of a heart attack at his home in Beaumont Thursday, July 28, 1955. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Beaumont, and the Sealy Masonic Lodge conducted graveside services at 4 p.m. in Sealy. Rev. Arthur Williams led in prayer. Mr. Amerine, of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, has served as District Superintendent of this area. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Clara Burger Amerine; two sons, Weldon Arden of Venezuela, and Thomas Earl of Beaumont; and one brother, Frank Amerine of California. Mrs. Amerine is the sister of Mrs. Ada Carmichael of Brookshire.
