Dorothy Oseka, departed this life and entered The Eternal Home on November 3, 2009, in her home at The Rose Lane Home in Loup City, Nebraska. Dorothy was 76 years of age having been born on June 26, 1933, at Ashton to Stanley and Ethel (Bly) Kaslon. Dorothy attended Ashton, Nebraska Country School and Ashton Catholic School and graduated from Ashton , NebraskaHigh School in 1951. She attended Kearney State College, received her teaching certificate, and taught in District 26 for two years. Dorothy married Clarence J. Oseka on August 24, 1954, in Rockville, Nebraska. They ranched side by side southwest of Loup City, Nebraska. The couple moved to Loup City, Nebraska in 1984. She had resided at Rose Lane Home in Loup City, Nebraska since 2006. She was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, St. Josaphat's Rosary Sodality, Loup City American Legion Auxiliary and the Hospital Auxiliary. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and caring for her family and others. She baked and decorated numerous cakes, including wedding cakes. Survivors are sons and daughters-in-law, David and Gisele of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mark and Toni of Loup City, Nebraska and Randy and Marla of Kearney, Nebraska; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Schall of Kearney, Nebraska and Karen and Scott Bjerke of Grand Island, Nebraska; and brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Jean Kaslon of Grand Island, Nebraska and a host of friends and relatives Dorothy was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by her parents, Stanley and Ethel Kaslon; and husband Clarence Oseka;
