Bio
Michael L. Slauter, departed this life and entered The Eternal Home, on October 30, 2009, at home in Grand island, Nebraska. Michael was 56 years of age having been born on September 20, 1953, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Ralph and Luella (Jakubowski) Slauter. Michael grew to manhood in Grand Island, Nebraska and received his education in the Grand Island, Nebraska Public Schools. Michael served his country in United States Navy from February 27, 1973 to his honorable discharge December 19, 1978. Michael was united in marriage to Francie Hermes on June 30, 1979, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Michael and Francie made their home in Grand Island, Nebraska where he was employed by Becker Trucking. The couple also owned and operated a craft business. Michael will be remembered as a loving and patient man who enjoyed working with his hands. He loved doing crafts, woodworking, history and reading. Michael is survived by; son Tyler Slauter of Omaha Nebraska; brothers and spouse, Bob and Sheila Krolikowski Jerry and Angie Krolikowski all of Grand Island, Nebraska and a host of friends and relatives. Michael was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by his parents, Ralph and Luella Slauter and wife Francie Slauter.
