Robert (Bob) M. Krolikowski, 79 of Grand Island, died Sunday, August 18, 2024 at CHI Health-St. Francis. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 27th at All Faiths Funeral Home. Father Jorge Canela will officiate. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army and United Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday with a Rosary at 7 PM at All Faiths Funeral Home. Bob was born on February 17, 1945 in Loup City, the son of Leonard and Luella (Jakubowski) Krolikowski. He was raised and received his education in Grand Island. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962, serving during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1968. On June 18, 1976 he was united in marriage to Sheila Stobbe. This union was blessed with four children; Shanon, Chrissi, Shea and Ryan. Bob worked alongside his brothers-in-law and father-in-law performing numerous construction and bricklaying jobs around Grand Island. He was then employed by McCain Foods for 16 years, retiring in 2002. Some of his enjoyments included spending time with his family, Husker football, and the Chicago Cubs. Every now and then, Bob could be found feeding the slot machines at the casino. He loved to socialize and was a friend to everyone he met! Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Sheila; their children, Shanon (David) Niedfelt, Chrissi Yeck and Ryan (Hanah) Krolikowski all of Grand Island; grandchildren, Paige (Matt) Simpson, Maggie Roudebush, Blake Roudebush, Ryan Yeck, and Isabella Yeck; great grandchildren, Madden Simpson and River Simpson, bonus children, Crystal, Wesley, Ryan and Alex and his identical twin brother, Jerry (Angie) Krolikowski of Grand Island. He is preceded in death by his son, Shea; his parents and a brother, Mike Slaughter.
