Bio
Dandridge, Bobby Joe, 74, passed away October 19, 2009. He was born in Dallas, Texas on May 24, 1935 to Joseph Edward Dandridge and Etta Marie Beard Dandridge. A 1953 graduate of Adamson High School, he served his country in the United States Army before starting his family and business career in Oak Cliff. He is survived by his wife Shirley and her daughter Karla Thatcher. Bob is also survived by his children, Paula Hayes, Karen Childers, Rita Dandridge, Russell Dandridge, and their mother Joanne Dandridge, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bob's memory to the ministries of Orphan Outreach, 7616 LBJ Freeway, Suite 560, Dallas, Texas 75251. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Cliff, 1822 West Tenth Street, Dallas, Texas 75208. Jeter & Son 214-330-4700
