COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY 02/10/1980 - ELIZABETH Roy Robinson, 77, Elizabeth, died at 10 p.m. Friday [February 8, 1980] at North Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. Survivors include five sons, Joe & Ralph Robinson, both of Elizabeth, Frank Robinson of Anderson, Hubert Robinson of Jeffersonville and Walter Robinson of Lanesville; four daughter, Mrs. Marie Knear of New Albany, Mrs. Odie Kingsley of Laconia, Mrs. Iva Hollkamp of Borden and Mrs. June Jacobi of Floyds Knobs; a brother, Dorsey Robinson of Louisville; two half-brothers, Harvey Robinson of Louisville and Simon Robinson of New Albany; five sisters, Ms. Ivy Brewer of Elizabeth, Mrs. Marie Snowder of Miami, FL, Mrs. Monzella Kinzig of New Albany, Mrs. Zelma Powell of Louisville and Mrs. Geneva Crowder of Sebring, FL; a half-sister, Mrs. Ethel Castile of New Albany; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in Evans Landing Cemetery.
