Bio

I am pretty certain that Pearl was born in 1891and not 1890 as her sister, Grace Franklin Sanders, was born June 1890. Pearl was the wife of Ben Franklin Smith. Her first husband was Jake S. Haney. Both men are buried at Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery. Children Jake W. Haney and Dulcie Haney Mitchell are also buried there. Pearl was the daughter of William A. and Margaret Olean Jackson Franklin also buried at Shiloh.
