Travis Slingsby, departed this life and entered the eternal home on October 22, 2009, the result of a traffic accident on snow packed Nebraska Highway 2, east of Broken Bow, Nebraska. Travis Slingsby was born November 19, 1993, in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Dean and Mary Jo (Vose) Slingsby. Survivors are his parents, Dean and Mary Jo (Vose) Slingsby of Broken Bow, Nebraska; a brother, Taylor Slingsby of Broken Bow, Nebraska; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie and Chris Watts of Kearney, Nebraska; Ashley and Josh Vaughn and Darcey and Selvin Mendez, all of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandmother, Mary Vose of Arcadia, Nebraska; and grandparents, Gaylord and Evelyn Slingsby of Ansley, Nebraska. Travis was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by a host of relatives and friends who have gone before.
