Bio

Clark was the son of John Cleveland McNiel and wife, Mary (Polly) Baird. One of 4 brothers to migrate to Texas from Georgia. Others were Oliver Cromwell McNiel(1821-1870); John B. McNiel (1825-1895); and M.J. (Jeff) McNiel (1848-1902).
