Calvin Twombly married Susan Jane Wiley Bedford (widow of Charles Bedford)sometime between 1854 & 1857. Calvin and Susan had the following children: William Manville Twombly, b. abt. 1857, IL. Hannah Twombly, b. abt. 1859, IL. Samuel Twombly, b. abt. 1861, IL. Mary E. Twombly, b. abt. 1863, IL. Daniel Twombly, b. abt. 1866., IL. Thomas Edward Twombly, b. abt. 1867, IL.
