Rapid City Journal, Rapid City, South Dakota, Friday, April 11, 1958 (transcribed as written) ~ Maysil Gordon Dies In Oregon ~ Mrs. Maysil Gordon, 68, former Rapid City resident, died Tuesday at St. Helens, Ore., where she had been living the past several years. Funeral services are to be held there Saturday. Mrs. Gordon was a long-time Rapid City resident, previous to moving to Oregon 10 years ago. She was active in many clubs and civic groups here, including the Supreme Forest Woodmen, and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Rapid City. Here husband preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Vernon, Rapid City, and Roy, San Pedro, Calif.; four grandchildren, including Russell Gordon of Rapid City and four great-grandchildren.
