Obituary: Huronite and Daily Plainsman (Huron, South Dakota) 25 Nov 1957 Rites Scheduled Tuesday For Robert Tiff Clark - Funeral services for Robert Tiff, 71, Doland, are scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church of Doland. The Rev. R.O. Moberley will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. He was born Jan. 5, 1886, at Broken Bow, Neb., the son of the late Martin and Mary Tiff. He married Maude Acker, Jan. 9, 1907, at Burwell, Neb. He came to South Dakota in 1913 and lived in Carpenter and Doland vicinity where he farmed until his retirement. He then moved to Doland. Survivors include his widow' three daughters, Mrs. Mae Loomis, Fairport, N.Y.; Mrs. Florence Mills, Watertown; Ethel at home; two sons, Harry, Compton, Calif.; Raymond, Turton; one sister, Mrs. Tina Schyier, Grand Island, Neb.; 20 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Haughland Funeral Home of Clark. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
