Bio

ANDERSON WHEELER Anderson Wheeler was born to Alfred Wheeler and Patsy Wheeler, June 1843 in Tennessee. He died in 1918 in Shelby County, Texas. Anderson enlisted for service in the CSA War, Jan. 15, 1863 at Shelbyville, Texas. He served as a Pvt. in Co. C 4th Texas Brigade. I have been told that he received injuries during the war. Anderson married Mary Anne Peace Feb. 28, 1874 in Shelby County, Texas. She was the daughter of Blackburn Peace and Modenia Wheeler. They were the parents of 12 children of which 10 died young. The two who lived to become adults were, Alphie A. b. Aug. 2,1876, and married Wiley G. Bush, August 2, 1907. James Alford, b. Apr.5, 1888.
