Emory was born in Stamford, TX to Frank & Ettie Slovacek Musil. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1940. He was attending the University of Texas and left to volunteer after Pearl Harbor. He hwas assigned to Sheppard Army Base for basic training. Emory married Mary Cuba on 06/03/1944 in Bryan, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, John Kevin Musil; brothers, Joe, Frank & Johnnie Musil; a sister, Ruby Musil; brothers-in-law Gilbert Rod, Bill Nichols, & Pete Jesko; sister-in-law Alice Musil & Violet Musil; nephews Johnny Hajek & Larry Musil; and niece, Carol Rod. He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; sons, Stephen Musil of Cedar Park, TX, David Musil & wife Patsy of Ft. Worth, TX, & Timothy Musil of Golden, CO; daughters Patricia Smith & husband Price and Paula Gilbert & husband Rick, all of Wichita Falls, Tx.; a brother Leon Musil and wife Charlotte of Rogers, Arkansas; sisters Ettie Jeske of Lubbock, TX, Gladys Rod of El Campo, TX, & Lillie Nichols of Arlington, TX; grand children, & great-grand children. per Abilene Reporter Newspaper
