Ollie Lavonia Newton Simmons Daughter of FRANCIS NEWTON and MARY DUBOSE. Wife of WILLIAM IVEY SIMMONS. **************************** *Funeral services for Mrs Ollie Newton Simmons, 93, of Buna will be announced by E E Stringer Funeral Home of Kirbyville. Mrs. Simmons died Tuesday, October 31, 1972, in a Buna Nursing Home. She was a former resident of Kirbyville and was the last member of the pioneer family of Newton County. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Cora Smith if Segno, Mrs Sally Forse of Port Arthur and Mrs Dorothy Odom of Beaumont; six sons, Earnest Simmons of Silsbee, Martin Simmons of Risenburg, Clarence Simmons of Fredricksburg, R E and Lonnie Simmons, both of Kirbyville and Owen Simmons of Grand Prairie.
