Published in the Athens Review December 18, 1930 (Special correspondence) Leagueville, December 15--Mrs. Annie Barton Fowler died in Reids Branch community Saturday morning, December 13, and was laid to rest in Leagueville cemetery Sunday afternoon. Rev. Hollingsworth and Rev. Williamson, her pastor, preached the funeral rites before a host of friends and sad relatives Sunday at Leagueville Baptist Church. She leaves a husband, Mr. Vander Fowler and several children.
