Jasper Newton Chambers married Sarah Eleanor Hampton on 16 May 1867 at Weston, Texas. She preceded him in death. Jasper Newton Chambers of Bryson died at his home. He was one of the first settlers of Bryson, coming to Bryson in 1878 and was well known by almost all of the older citizens of Jack County. Mr. Chambers was a successful stock farmer until 1917. Survived by his children - Mrs. Ben Lowe, Mrs. George Patterson, W.J. Chambers, J.R. Chambers, L.M. Chambers, C.C. Chambers, T.H. Chambers, E.W. Chambers, V.W.
