ROBERT RUSHING PATE Rushing was born December 22, 1914 to John Daniel Pate and Dicey Modenia Peace, in Shelby County, Texas. He died April 25, 1983 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana. Rushing married Helen Inez Driggers, September 28, 1940 in Ringgold, Bienville Parish, Louisiana. Two children were born to this union. They are as follows: Bobby Seals and Helen Joyce Pate. Rushing was a brick layer by trade and was known to be the best at his job. There are many homes that show off his brick work. He was a member of The Church of Christ in Ringgold, Louisiana.
