Bio

Amy married Charles Pearl Perry in 1927. Their daughter, Sara Frances Perry Beasley, is buried in Roselawn Park. After Charles's death, Amy married E. O. Warren (in 1951). Their son, Jimmy Dale Warren, is also buried in Roselawn Park. She was residing in Palestine, TX at the time of her death. ∼ OBITUARY - Tyler (TX) Morning Telegraph - Friday, 24 Apr 1981 PALESTINE -- Services for Mrs. Amy Warren, 71, of Palestine are set for 1"30 p.m. Friday in the Hassell and Foster Funeral Chapel with Rev. Earl D King officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park in Palestine. Mrs. Warren died Wednesday following a brief illness. She was born in Colorado City, May 1, 1909, and was a longtime Palestine resident. She was a member of the North Jackson Baptist Church. Survivors include a husband, Jimmy Warren of Palestine; a son, Jimmy Dale Warren of Palestine; two daughters, Mary Lou Hester of Longview and Mrs. Leland (Sarah) Beasley of Palestine; two brothers, Willard Foster of Slocum and Russell Foster of Lake Charles, LA; seven sisters, Melba Powers of Longview, Verna Pierce of Tyler, Ima Perry, Doris Lively, Jean Caskey, Eva Ferrell and Naomi Knick, all of Palestine; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
