Bio

Carl Michael Webb of Braggadocio died March 18, 1980, in a Houston hospital. He was 82. Mr. Webb was a life-long resident of Braggadocio, where he was born July 22, 1897, to the late George W. and Delia (Waldrop) Webb. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Webb is survived by two sons, Hina B. of Denver, and Carl M. Jr., of Pasadena, Tex.; a daughter, Anita Essary, also of Pasadena; two sisters, Frieda Davis of Sacramento, and Hazel of Mt. View, Calif.; a brother, Charles W. of Memphis; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at the Dean Funeral Home Chapel March 21 with the Rev. Paul Currie officiating. Interment was in the Little Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Faris, Joe Coppage, James Bruton, Mike Abbott, Max Wallace, Jr., and Bud Scott.
