Thanks to contributor #47466150; Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Saturday September 3 1927 Broken Bow, Neb., Sept 3 -- (Special) Funeral services for Glenn Arwin Roseberry, of this city, who died at Oxford, Neb. on August 29 after an illness of one week, where held from the Methodist Episcopal church at Broken Bow on Thursday afternoon, Rev. W. A. Baldwin, pastor of the Christian church, delivering the sermon. Glenn A. Roseberry, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roseberry, was born at Marysville, Kansas, on November 29, 1 903, and moved to Grand Island with his parents in 1912, residing there until April 1919, when they moved to Broken Bow. Since that time he has made his home here. He attended the Broken Bow public schools and for the past eight years has been connected with the Northwestern Bell Telephone company, in whose employ he was at the time of his death. He was on special service at Oxford for a few weeks relieving the local manager there who was on his vacation and had just received a letter from the district commercial manager at Omaha announcing that he had received the appointment as commercial manager for the company at Lexington, Nebraska, to be effective September first. He united with the Christian church at Grand Island in 1913, was a charter member of the Broken Bow Chapter Order of DeMolay and an active member in the Broken Bow band for the past eight years. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Lillian Hickman of Litchfield, and one brother, Milton M. of Broken Bow Interment was made in the Broken Bow cemetery.
