Bio

Elmer Hardy, 72, passed away at Douglas, Wyoming on March 22, 1960. He was born at Norfolk, Nebraska on Feb. 2, 1888, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Hardy. He graduated from the Norfolk High School and attended the University of Nebraska and Iowa State University. He came to Wyoming in 1911 and located at Lusk. He was married to Angeline Smahel in 1914 and moved to Douglas in 1928, where he worked at the LaBonte Hotel for 28 years. Those who honor his memory are his wife, Angeline; a daughter, Ruth Langendorf of Philadelphia, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Barbara and Diane; and two sisters, Mrs. Glen T. Gibson of Gibbon, Neb., and Mrs. Walter Weber of Norfolk, Neb. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and one brother, Donald.
