Jerry L. Gottschalk, 83, retired Central Kansas Power meter-reader, died Tuesday, March 16, 1993. Vigil 7:30 tonight, Hays Memorial Chapel; service 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors: wife, Eleanor; sons, Gary of Arlington, Texas, Kim of Longmont, Colo., Kurt of Las Vegas; daughters, Marilyn Nevins of Oak Harbor, Wash., Karen Ryser of Satanta; brothers, Fred of Denver, Elmer of Hays; sister, Cecelia Schmidt of Hays; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the Thomas More Prep-Marion High School, Hays. Wichita Eagle, 3/18/1993
