Bio
Daughter of M E and Minerva Ann Wheatley Moore. Odessa Moore, 77, passed away Feb. 29, 1984 in the Foard County Hospital where she spent many years working as a nurse. She was born July 21, 1906 in Wilbarger County, Texas to Marrett Elbridge and Minerva Wheatley Moore. She was a faithful member of the Thalia Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge of Crowell and the Vernon Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Odessa will be remembered for her gentle soul and dedication to helping others. She is survived by one brother Bill Moore of Thalia and 2 nephews and 1 niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marrett & Minerva and brothers Jim Moore and an infant brother lost at birth and one niece. Services will be at the Thalia Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Thalia Cemetery under the direction of Womack Manard Funeral Home.
