James Elbridge "Jim" Moore,70, a lifelong resident of Thalia, died Wednesday morning in a Crowell hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Thalia Church of Christ. O.C. Holland the the Rev. Delmar McBeath, pastor of Lockett Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in East View Memorial Park in Vernon under direction of Womack Funeral Home. Moore was born Aug. 10, 1903 in Thalia. He was a farmer, a member of the Thalia Church of Christ, Thalia Masonic Lodge, Dallas Consistory Scottish Rite and Markat Shrine Temple in Wichita Falls. Survivors include his wife: two sons, both of Thalia, a daughter of Vernon; a brother of Thalia; a sister of Thalia; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
