Bio

Emma Marie Trojacek, 88, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at home in Ennis, Texas surrounded by her family. Emma was born on August 27, 1921 to Antone and Mary (Zaludek) Cikanek in Ennis. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1939 and then attended Draughn's Business College. On June 12, 1946 she married Joe H. Trojacek. She worked for Ennis Business Forms for twenty one years as a proofreader; also at HEB in the Floral Department and as a substitute teacher for St. John School. She was a member of KJZT for seventy two years and a life time member of SPJST. Emma is survived by two daughters: Kathy Navarro, and her husband, Raymond, and Neva Del Bosque, and her husband, David; two grandchildren: Kim Kozlovsky, and her husband, David, and Steven Navarro, and his wife, Jami; six great grandchildren: Caine, Kennedy and Haylee Kozlovsky, Parker, Tucker, and Cooper Navarro. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Trojacek, in 1987, her parents, Antone and Mary Cikanek, and two brothers: George Cikanek and Antone Cikanek. Rosary was recited Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, August 31, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Father Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Christian Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
