Bio

Richard, a life long resident of Buna, passed away at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He worked as a Composition Assistant at Beaumont Enterprise for thirty four years. He was preceded in death by mother, Hazel Fontenot, brother Kenneth Quinn , sister Diane Quinn Anderson and grandmother Lucille Hargrove Bertram . Survivors include dad, Clinton Fontenot; sister, Kathy Merwin; niece, Bridget Quinn Matlock and husband Mike; nephews, Chris Melancon and wife Amanda and Kyle Melancon and wife Haley and aunt, Norma Bertram. Funeral services at Farmer Funeral Home with interment in Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
