"Seguin Gazette," 7 November 1968, p. 9 THOMAS C. OLIVER Thomas C. Oliver, 56, of 402 E. Pine St., Seguin, died Sunday, November 3rd, 1968, in the Guadalupe Valley Hospital. He was an employee of the City of Seguin. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 5th, 1968, in the Goetz Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. O. F. Dingler officiating. Interment was in San Geronimo Cemetery. Decedent is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Oliver of Seguin; two sons, Weldon Oliver and Wayne Oliver, both of Seguin; one daughter, Mrs. Philip Batey of Kingsbury; three step-daughters, Mrs. Jerome Naumann of Seguin, Mrs. Harry Nagel, Jr. of Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Walter Allen of Center, Texas; two brothers, Leon Oliver of San Antonio and Osborne Oliver of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Ida Mae Guentzel of Copeland, Texas; also by 8 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Preston Johnson, Gilbert Hartwick, J. C. Jeffers, Alvis Talley, Herman Talley and Henry Dix.
