GUENTZEL, Mrs. Iva Mae of Coupland. Age 86. Died 1/28/1988 (Thursday) in Johns Community Hospital. Services held 1/30/1988 (Saturday) at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Coupland. Burial in church cemetery. Rev. Paul Mohr officiated. She was BORN in the Beaukiss Comm. in Williamson Co. on 10/01/1901 and had lived in Coupland since 1928. She was a school teacher for many years and was assistant postmistress in Coupland for 12 years before her retirement. Member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and very active in various church groups. Preceded in death by husband, Cleo Guentzel and 3 sisters and 2 brothers. SURVIVORS: Daughter & son-in-law, Jeanette & Jerry Robison of Burnet; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Tommy & Paula Guentzel of Round Rock; Glen & Peggy Guentzel of Austin; brother, Osborne Oliver of Houston; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
