Cooper Review-Friday, January 29,1954-Funeral services are to be held at 2PM today, January 29, in the Klondike Church of Christ for Mrs. Bertha Hooten, Rt.1, Klondike, who died at her home at 6:35PM Wednesday. J.D. Lancaster, former minister, will officiate. McDonald Funeral Home has charge of arrangements and internment will be made in the Klondike Cemetery. Mrs. Hooten was born October 9, 1871, in Missouri, the daughter of Ambus and Mary (Witter) Wages. She is the last member of the Wages family, except for a sister-in-law, Mrs. W.H. Wages of Commerce. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.D. Brack of Dallas, Mrs. L.S. Robnett and Mrs. T.W. Robnett of Klondike; two sons, Curtis Hooten of Klondike and Earl Hooten of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers for the services will be J.B. Adair, John McCombs, Dudley Robnett, R.C. Thrasher, J.D. Etherage and Roy ??
