Bio

Floyd H. Selby Floyd H. Selby, 84, retired carpenter, of Sullivan died at 1:30 p.m., May 15 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Born in Moultrie County, June 28, 1884. he was the son George and Amy Ray Selby. He was a member of the Church of God in Sullivan. He married Oga Webb March 10, 1914 in Sullivan. He is survived by his wife, Olga; sons, Lloyd O. of Sullivan; Cecil of Danville and Kenneth of Decatur; a daughter Mrs. James (Hilda) Rhodes of Sullivan; brother Sherman of Monmouth and sisters, Mrs. Ben Miller of Sullivan; Mrs. Stella Duncan of Decatur and Mrs. Corda Fair of Lovington. There are 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Raymond Miller of Decatur conducted funeral services at 1:20 p.m., May 17 at the McMullin Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery.
