WILSON, William E.,79, of Summitville, Tennessee, died Monday, November 22, 1999 following an extended illness at Coffee Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. A native of Overton County, Tennessee he was the son of the late George Thomas and Sarah Briney Sutton Wilson. He was a retired electrician with AEDC and TVA. He was a member Of the Nazarene Church and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Nashville for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith H. Kelley Wilson; one son-in-law, Ray Shimmin who died in 1993 and three sistersY Modesta Nolan, Melia Wilson and Ruby Kelly. He is survived by two sons, William Earl Wilson, Tullahoma, Tennessee, Thayer Buford (Carolyn) Wilson, Tullahoma; three daughters, Marcia Ann (Jim)iFarris, Manchester,Dinah Wilson Shimmin, Manchester, Darlene (Freddie) Northcutt, Manchester; one brother, Fred Wilson, Nashville, Tennessee; four sisters, Leva Roberts, Carthage, Tennessee, Ruth Shoemake, Gordonsville, Tennessee, Hazel Preston, Gordonsville, Jean Hensley, Carthage, fifteen grandchildren, Donna Wilson, Sandra Ferido, Cathy Itakura, Sultry Luster, Tim Wilson, Lisa Gressel, Randy Wilson, Sabrina Wilson, Candi Farris, Greg Farris,- Angela Farris, Meredith Farris, Stephanie Banks, Chris Northcutt, Maeghan Northcutt; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel Bro. Marvin Bunde officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Coffee County, Tennessee. Manchester Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Manchester Times
