Mrs. Hazel Wilson Preston, age 92, of Gordonsville, TN, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. Mrs. Preston was born December 30, 1923 in Hilham, TN, the Daughter of the late George Thomas Wilson and Sarah Sutton Wilson. She married Sam B. Preston on September 11, 1943 and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2000. She was also preceded by Brothers: Fred Wilson and Eston Wilson, and Sisters: Ruth Shoemake, Leva Roberts, Jean Hensley, Melia Wilson, Ruby Kelley, Modesta Nolen, and Mozelle Wilson. Mrs. Preston is survived by Daughter and Granddaughter. Funeral Services for Mrs. Preston are scheduled to be conducted from the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2PM with Bro. Bobby Peoples officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordonsville Cemetery. Visitation with the Preston family will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Saturday from 3PM until 8PM and again on Sunday after 11AM until the time of the service at 2PM. The Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Family Worship Center.
