Jessie Mae Tyson, 89, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 19, 2010. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Jessie Mae was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Wellington to Albert and Sally Langford. She was a beautician. She married J.D. Rogers in 1937 in Childress. He preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1967. She married J.C. Tyson on Aug. 15, 1970. Jessie Mae was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family will miss her sweet smile and her loving words of "I love you, Baby." Survivors include her husband, J.C. Tyson; three daughters, Patricia Yale, Gaylene Roberts and husband Ray and Rebecca Langham and husband Tommy, all of Amarillo; two sons, Johnny Rodgers and wife Cheryl and Jimmy Rodgers and wife Betty, all of Amarillo; a sister, Pauline Warren of Amarillo; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
