HENDERSON - Services for Helen Ruth Elder, 72, of Henderson, will be 4 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009, in Tatum Cemetery. Mrs. Elder died August 21, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Elder was born April 19, 1937, in Henderson. Survivors include her mother, Lessie Watson; daughter, Pat Wingate; brothers, Bill "Brother" Sanders, John Sanders, Robert Williams, Murry Williams; and sisters, Carrol Purdy and Cindy Powdrill.
