Married to James Henry Robinson
Mrs. James Robinson of Gage Valley community died at 6:25 Sunday morning at the St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, where she had been taken early last week and underwent an operation for stomach ulcer Tuesday March 17. She had been in ill health since the first of the year. (Funeral details followed.) Louise Katherine Nehls was born at Prairie Creek, north of Grand Island, January 26, 1884, and went home to be with her Lord, March 22, 1942, at the age of 58 years, one month and 24 days. She came with her parents from Prairie Creek to Gage Valley in 1894 and lived in this community the remainder of her earthly life. In 1904, she was united in marriage to James Henry Robinson of Palmer, Nebraska. To this union four children were born; Cranson Carlyle of Palmer; Wanda Willmata of Wood River; Angela Vlair of Grand Island; and Zada Gretchen of Monterey, California. In 1900 she became a member of the Pleasant Hill United Brethern Church, transferring her membership to the Methodist Church in St. Paul in 1933. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge at St. Paul. She lived an exemplary Christian life and was a loving mother and faithful wife. Left to mourn her going away are her husband, one son, three daughters, seven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. J. E. Walters of St. Paul, and many friends. (Poem followed.)
