MN death certificate 2000-MN-016021 Mother's maiden name: HYATT PILLAGER -- Shannon Lee Drake, 69, Pillager, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at his home. He was born April 16, 1931, in Loop County, Neb., to Edward and Ivey (Hyatt) Drake. He married Ione Doucette on Dec. 21, 1955. He was a veteran of the army and a member of the Eagles Club of Brainerd. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Patrick and Kevin, both of Pillager; two daughters, Tammy Hemphill and Lori Borders, both of Pillager; four sisters, Fran Muller, New Brighton, Doris Marshall , St. Paul, Betty Wolhart, Brainerd, and Diane Vogt, Brainerd; two brothers, Keith, Minneapolis, and David, Sargent, Neb.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His parents, one brother, an infant sister and a nephew died earlier. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home of Brainerd with Pastor David Grotzke officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5-8 p.m. An Eagle service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
