Bio

Mr. William Barney Newsom died on February 15, 1989, in a Denton hospital after a long illness. He was born on November 11, 1894, in Gilmer. Mr. Newsom had lived in Trinidad since. 1976, moving there from Tyler. Mr. Newsom was a retired automobile mechanic. Survivors include one son, Lawrence Newsom; one daughter, Mary Flatt; one sister. Roxie Bell; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
