Services for Roxie Newsom Blissitte Bell, 94, Tyler, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Wiley Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Chandler Memorial Cemetery, Chandler. Mrs. Bell died Dec. 23, 2006, in Tyler She was born Oct. 24, 1912, in Kerens to the late William Henry Newsom and Mary Elizabeth Payne. She lived in Kerens and Dallas prior to moving to Tyler. She was a retired insurance clerk, homemaker, and was a member of Park Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Ralph Blissitte and Hudson Bell; sons, Tommy Ralph Blissitte; six brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include children, Henry Joe Blissitte, Murchison, Mary Lou Hooker and Jerry Leo Blissitte, both of Tyler, and Joyce Ann Sampson, Bryan; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice, 215 Winchester Drive, Suite 105, Tyler, 75701. Her first husband was Henry R. 35661939 and second one Bell 35660916 Children are Tommy 35662033 and Joe 35661905 On one Tommy's 35662033 you show Joe as Father he was his brother.
