Bio

Graveside services for Norman Holder, 83, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Resthaven Memorial Park with Bill Raley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. He died Tuesday, March 6, 2001. He was born Sept. 21, 1917, in Winnsboro and married Annie Pitts on Nov. 23, 1954. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II from 1941-1944. He retired from White's Home and Auto in 1980. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard and Danny, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Willie Fae Macon of Lubbock and Lovis Crenshaw of Irving; and four grandchildren.
