Husband of Ava Ferrell Hardin LEO HARDIN STAMFORD - Leo Raymond Hardin, 74, died Tuesday at a local hospital. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Orient Street Church of Christ with Dorman Holub officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney Funeral Home. Born in Erath County, he was a longtime Stamford resident. He was an oil field heavy equipment operator and a member of the Church of Christ. He was the widower of Ava Ferrell Hardin. Survivors include a daughter, Patsy (Mrs. Fred) Lewis of Snyder; two sons, Jerry Hardin of Rosenburg and Don Hardin of Abilene; a brother, W.R. Hardin of Stamford; two sisters, Merdell (Mrs. Bill) Longley of Stamford and Tylene (Mrs. Ralph) Howard of Visalia, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
