St. Paul Phonograph-Herald, April 10, 1991, page 6, transcribed by Linda Berney: Leo Moraczewski, son of Felix and Clara Jasnoch Moraczewski, was born April 22, 1910 at Ashton, Nebraska. He departed from this life on April 4, 1991 at St. Paul at the age of 80 years. Mr. Moraczewski received his education in rural school near Ashton and grew to manhood on the family farm, also near Ashton. As a young man, he engaged in farming with his father before his marriage. On January 25, 1938, he was united in marriage to Florence Wadas at Elyria, Nebraska. The couple made their home on a farm between Midway and Farwell until 1970 when he retired due to health reasons. At the time of his retirement, the Moraczewskis moved into St. Paul to make their home. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of St. Paul. He is survived by his wife, Florence of St. Paul; a son, Robert of Wyoming, Minnesota; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Bernadine) Krance of Central City; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Lech of Ord and Mrs. Harriett Grabowski of Chappell; a brother, Dominic of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Veronica Moraczewski.
