Bio

Washington was in the Civil War along with six of his brothers, He was a soldier of the war of '61 to '65. being a member of Company D, 8th Iowa Calvary and served until the close of War. On the 18th day of July 1871, Washington Monroe Knight married the love of his life and to this union no children were born, He married Susan Curtis. By a Justice of the Peace.
