OELRICHS - Robert A. Vrbka, 74, Oelrichs, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at Hot Springs Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Vrbka, Oelrichs; six sons, Robert Vrbka, Alliance, Neb., Randall Vrbka, Mission, John Holsclaw, U.S. Navy, Ronald Campbell, Phoenix, Wallace Campbell, Custer, and Darrell Campbell, Box Elder; three daughters, Betty Rhembrandt, Chadron, Neb., Connie Sutherland, Battle Mountain, Nev., and Bobbie Jo Campbell, Hot Springs; one brother, Maynard Vrbka, Norfolk, Neb.; one sister, Barbara Schmidt, Cody, Wyo.; 28 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army from March 12, 1946, to Oct. 16, 1947. A Christian wake will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at the church, with the Rev. Peter Kovarik officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
