Graveside services for Ellie Mae Swain, 84, of Rosepine, LA, were held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at Holly Springs Cemetery near Fullerton, LA, the Rev. Lonie Cleveland officiated, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Mrs. Swain passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009, in Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA. Mrs. Swain was born in Pitkin, Louisiana, where she continued to live most of her life. She was a retired LPN from Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, and had also worked at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. Ella also served briefly in the U. S. Army. Mrs. Swain is survived by two sons, Henry Clifford Swain and wife June of Dallas, TX, and Johnny R. Swain and wife Mary of Rosepine, LA; niece, Ollie Mae Lambright of Elizabeth, LA, and nephew, James W.
