Page 8 Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Alexandria, Louisiana on Monday, September 19th, 1960 JIM JOHNSON PITKIN, LA. -- Funeral services for Jim Johnson, 80, of Pitkin were to be held at 3pm today at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. T. Murphy was to officate. Burial was to be in Blue Branch cemetery, under direction of ardoin Funeral Home of Oakdale. Mr. Johnson died at 3:30pm sunday at his home. Survivors are his widow of Pitkin, two son, Dave Johnson of Elizabeth and Damon Johnson of Pitkin; five daughters, Mrs. Riller Fee and Mrs. Lonnie Perkins, both of Pitkin; Mrs. Ken Thompson and Mrs. Bertie Johnson both of Oakdale, Mrs. J.B. Powell of Port Arthur, Texas; a half brother, Charles Mayo and a half sister, Mrs. Wilbur Doyle, both of Oakdale; 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
