Bio

James R Rowlett was the son of John Rowlett and Arena Ford Rowlett. James came to Texas in 1847 with his family. He married Celia Virginia Fore on March 14 1870 in Bastrop County, Texas and was the father of 6 children. After he died in 1902, his widow Celia Fore Rowlett married William Zebulon Cottle in 1907.
