She was born on December 25, 1922 to the late Charlie P. Westmoreland and Virgie Nance Westmoreland. Mrs. McCoy retired from the H.D. Lee Company in Sulphur Springs, was a member of the Red Hats Society and was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde McCoy on October 19, 1971; two sons, Joe Paul McCoy and Richard Donald McCoy and by five brothers. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Ann and Kinith Daily of Scroggins and Janis and Bill Pride of Quitman; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Gayla McCoy of Winnsboro; brothers, Fred Westmoreland of Scottsdale, AZ and Bill Westmoreland of Meridian, MS; sisters, Ruth Davis of Amarillo and Wanda Lawhorn of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
