Bio
Estelle J. Berger, 49, 3727 S. Landess St., Marion, died at 2 p.m. yesterday at Marion General Hospital. A native of Elvesta, Va., Mrs. Berger had lived in Marion for 18 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Ernest, one son, Jefferson C. Crocker, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Barbara) Sellers, and Mrs. Roy (Arlene) Short, both of Salem, Mo., and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Meade, San Antonio, Tex., her mother, Mrs. Mabel Ahlert, Evansville; one brother, C.D. Nichols, Torrance, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Rios, Fayetteville, N.C., and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Raven Funeral Home, Kem Road at Wabash Avenue, Marion, with the Rev. Orner Fisher officiation. The site of burial is pending.
