Henry Grant Street Obituary Henry Grant Street, loving husband, father and grandfather, born February 23, 1926 in Lehi, Utah to Pearl W. and Henry B. Street, passed away May 29, 1994 at home of natural causes. Served on USS Bataan in World War II and flew combat missions. Served two years as Sheriff of Alpine, Utah. Retired from State of Utah, where he worked at American Fork Training School and Utah Dept. of Corrections. Avid fisherman, square and round dancer. Loved traveling, gardening and canning the fruits of his labor. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Thella and second wife, Sherie. Survived by his current wife, Wendy McDougald, whom he married August 22, 1993. Also survived by daughters, Vickie Woodruff, Cindy Glines, Shannon (Scott) Dastrup; stepdaughter, Stephanie (Kelly) Anderson; stepson, Eric "Mac" (Alberta) Nelson; sisters, Norma (Stan) Galetka; Janet (Clift) Heaps; Mary (Doug) Erickson; Martha (Dee) Keetch; brother, David (Sharon) Street. Services will be held Thursday, June 2, 1994 at 1 p.m. at the South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, 6876 South Highland Drive, SLC. Viewing will take place at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Wednesday, June 1st, 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday June 2nd, 11-12 noon. Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) | 1 June 1994
